76367 Network Check: Find Any Number’s Operator in One SMS (2026)
The 76367 network check tells you which operator a Pakistani mobile number is on today. SMS the letter N, a space and the number to 76367, and the reply names its current network for about Rs 2. It exists because porting made prefixes unreliable, and it is the one lookup with a bare number that stays fully legal: network only, never a name.

This little code deserves more fame than it has. Half the “which network is this number” guesswork in Pakistan, and a surprising share of failed recharges, would vanish if people knew one SMS settles the question officially.

What the 76367 network check does
76367 answers exactly one question: which operator serves this number right now. You text it any Pakistani mobile number and it replies with the current network, whether that is Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone or another licensee. The answer reflects the number’s present home, not the operator its prefix once belonged to.
It is also the only number-in, answer-out service on this site’s legal list. Everything else that takes a bare number and promises information, from “live trackers” to name lookups, sits on the wrong side of the law; the boundary is drawn precisely in our by-number guide. 76367 stays clean because a network name is infrastructure information, not identity.
How to use 76367 step by step
- Open a new SMS to 76367 from any Pakistani SIM.
- Type N, a space, then the number you are asking about, for example: N 03001234567.
- Send it. The charge is about Rs 2.
- Read the reply, which names the number’s current operator.
Use it before a recharge for someone on an unfamiliar number, before choosing an on-net package, or whenever a “Jazz” prefix behaves like it is not on Jazz anymore. Businesses quietly run the same check before bulk SMS campaigns, and for the same reason: the prefix is a rumour, the registry is the fact.
Why prefixes lie: the porting effect
Mobile Number Portability lets any Pakistani number move to a new operator while keeping its digits. The 0300 that spent a decade on Jazz may be a Zong number today, and nothing in the digits will tell you. Every ported number in the country is a prefix telling yesterday’s truth.
That is the entire reason 76367 exists. It reads the same porting records the operators themselves settle traffic with, so its answer is current rather than historical. The one nuance worth knowing: a port that completed very recently can take a short while to reflect everywhere, so if a reply surprises you, re-check the next day before acting on it. What 76367 will not tell you
So place the code correctly in your toolkit. Unknown caller harassing you: block, screenshot, and report to the NCCIA at 1799, since only agencies can lawfully trace a number.
