Zong SIM Owner Details & Number Check: the App-First Network (2026)
Zong runs its self-service through the My Zong app rather than a public own-number code. Your number shows in the app (or on screen during a call to another phone). SIMs on your CNIC: SMS it to 668 or use cnic.sims.pk. Biometric status: SMS V to 7911. The SIM in your hand: MNP to 667. Owner names from a number: not a thing, legally, anywhere.
Zong, run by China Mobile Pakistan, is the most app-centred of the big four, and that shapes its checks. This zong sim owner details guide keeps the official routes only: what the My Zong app covers, which SMS codes exist, and what no Zong “database” site can lawfully offer.

Check your own Zong number: My Zong app
Zong’s site publishes no own-number USSD. Blog codes go stale without notice, so we do not print them. The reliable routes are two. Open the My Zong app, where your number heads the account screen. Or call any other handset you own and read the incoming screen.
Blogs that guess at retired codes are the small cousin of the “owner details” scam: both trade on codes nobody verified. Our rule across this site is official sources or silence.
The Zong SIM in your hand: MNP to 667
To verify a physical Zong SIM, send MNP from it to 667. The reply confirms the card’s registration status, and because the SMS must leave the SIM itself, the check cannot be abused against anyone else’s number.
Use it before porting, after buying a second-hand device, and on any drawer SIM before you trust it. The full pairing logic lives in 667 vs 668.
How many Zong SIMs sit on your CNIC
The census question always routes through PTA, not the operator. SMS your 13-digit CNIC to 668 (about Rs 2) or open cnic.sims.pk free; the reply counts SIMs per operator, Zong included, within the national cap of eight, five voice plus three data, fixed by the Supreme Court on 5 November 2015.
An unexplained zong sim owner details entry usually means a forgotten prepaid from student days, and occasionally fraud. Decode the numbers in the count guide, and run the check monthly via the 668 route.
Zong biometric (BVS) status: V to 7911
SMS the single letter V from your Zong SIM to 7911 and the reply states its biometric verification status. Unverified means a franchise visit with your original CNIC for a fresh thumb-impression match against NADRA.
The BVS layer, and why a quarter-million fake fingerprints were seized defeating it, is covered in the biometric verification guide.
Block or disown a lost Zong SIM
Call 310 from a Zong number, or Zong’s helpline from any other phone, verify yourself, and block the lost card, then replace it at a franchise with your original CNIC. Speed matters here. A live SIM in the wrong hands is your identity making calls.
A Zong SIM you never purchased is a disowning case at the franchise, capped at 200 rupees and free where fraud is shown, with the 365-day lock from PTA’s 24 May 2026 advisory making early detection valuable. Steps are in the CNIC SIM check guide.
Zong prefixes and porting
Zong’s traditional home is the 0310–0319 range. Since Mobile Number Portability, that is a hint rather than a fact: a 0312 number may live on Jazz today and a 0301 on Zong.
When the network actually matters, for a recharge or an on-net package, ask the registry itself: N, space, number to 76367. The 76367 guide has the format and the porting story.
Every network’s version of this page lives in the by-network hub; the nearest neighbours are Jazz and Telenor, and the legal line that rules them all is the PECA 2016 guide.
Zong Roman-Urdu mein
Zong app-first network hai: apna number My Zong app mein dekhein (website par koi apna-number code nahi hai, is liye hum blogs wale codes nahi chapte). CNIC par kitne SIM hain: 668 par SMS ya cnic.sims.pk. Biometric status: sirf V likh kar 7911 par bhejein. Haath wali SIM: MNP likh kar 667 par. SIM ghum jaye to 310 par call kar ke block karwayein. Kisi doosre ke Zong number ka naam nikalna PECA 2016 ke tahat jurm hai — koi legal tareeqa nahi.
Zong FAQs
What is the Zong code to check my own number?
Zong publishes no own-number USSD on its official site. Use the My Zong app, where your number appears on the account screen, or call another handset and read the screen.
What is the Zong biometric verification code?
SMS the letter V to 7911 from the Zong SIM. The reply states whether the SIM is biometrically verified; an unverified SIM is re-verified at a Zong franchise with your original CNIC.
How do I check how many Zong SIMs are on my CNIC?
SMS your 13-digit CNIC to 668 (about Rs 2) or use cnic.sims.pk free. The reply shows zong sim owner details as a count, alongside every operator, against the 8-SIM national cap.
Can any site show a Zong number’s owner details?
No. Zong owner details for a stranger’s number are protected identity information under Section 16 of PECA 2016. Sites claiming a lookup recycle old leaks or invent names.
How do I block a lost Zong SIM?
Call 310, verify your identity, and block the card, then take your original CNIC to a franchise for a replacement. A Zong SIM you never bought is disowned at the franchise instead.
