Telenor SIM Owner Details & Number Check, After the PTCL Merger (2026)
Telenor Pakistan is now part of the PTCL group, and every official check still works. SIMs on your CNIC: SMS it to 668 or use cnic.sims.pk. Biometric status: any SMS, even blank, to 7751. The SIM in your hand: MNP to 667. Your own number: the My Telenor app. Nothing legal turns a Telenor number into a stranger’s name.
Telenor is the one network where freshness is the whole game, because the company itself changed hands. Every telenor sim owner details claim below was re-checked after the sale. Here is the verified 2026 picture, the checks that still work, and what the ownership change does and does not mean for your SIM.

The merger, verified: what changed on 31 December 2025
The sale is complete, not rumoured. The Competition Commission approved PTCL’s acquisition on 1 October 2025, and PTA issued its decision on 30 November 2025. On 31 December 2025 PTCL announced that Telenor Pakistan now operates as its 100% owned subsidiary. Telenor Group confirmed the completion the same day. The plan on record is amalgamation with PTML, the company behind Ufone.
What this means for you today is simple. The Telenor brand, SIMs and codes keep working while integration proceeds, and your telenor sim owner details record carries over untouched. What it does not mean: any need to “re-register” via some link sent on WhatsApp. Treat every such message as the scam it is; official changes arrive through official channels, a pattern our Pak SIM data page documents at length.
Check your own Telenor number: the app route
Telenor’s reliably documented route is the My Telenor app. It shows your number on the main screen after login. Blogs circulate USSD codes for this, but they conflict with each other and none we could trace to an official Telenor page, so, per our accuracy rule, we print the app route and skip the folklore.
The old fallback works everywhere: ring any other handset you own and read the caller display.
The Telenor SIM in your hand: MNP to 667
Send MNP from the Telenor SIM to 667. The reply confirms its registration status. The check stayed live through the ownership change, and it remains bound to the physical card, which is what keeps it legal.
Where 667 answers for one SIM, 668 answers for your whole identity; the split is tabulated in 667 vs 668.
How many Telenor SIMs sit on your CNIC
SMS your 13-digit CNIC to 668 (about Rs 2) or use cnic.sims.pk free. Telenor SIMs appear under their own operator column, and post-merger they still count as Telenor entries. The national cap of eight applies as ever, five voice plus three data, per the Supreme Court’s 5 November 2015 ruling.
Read a surprising total with the count decoder before reacting; forgotten SIMs outnumber fraud, though both need the same monthly 668 habit to surface.
Telenor biometric (BVS) status: any SMS to 7751
Telenor’s status check is the gentlest of the four: send any SMS, even a blank one, to 7751 from the SIM, a detail confirmed on PTA’s official information page for the service. The reply states the SIM’s biometric verification status.
Unverified means the standard fix, franchise plus original CNIC plus thumb impression, and the wider fingerprint story is in the biometric verification guide.
Block or disown a lost Telenor SIM
Call 345 from a Telenor number, or the helpline from any phone, verify yourself and block the card, then replace it at a franchise with your original CNIC. Franchises operate normally under the PTCL group, so no merger excuse should delay you.
A Telenor SIM on your CNIC that you never bought is disowned at the franchise, 200-rupee cap, waived in fraud, with the 365-day new-SIM lock from PTA’s 24 May 2026 advisory raising the stakes on early detection. Steps: CNIC SIM check guide.
Telenor prefixes and porting
Telenor’s classic range is 0340–0349. Porting has been blurring those lines since long before the merger, and integration with the PTCL group may blur branding further, which makes prefix-guessing doubly unreliable here.
The registry answer costs about Rs 2: N, space, number to 76367, explained in the 76367 guide.
Every network’s version of this page lives in the by-network hub; the nearest neighbours are Ufone and Jazz, and the legal line that rules them all is the PECA 2016 guide.
Telenor Roman-Urdu mein
Telenor Pakistan 31 December 2025 se PTCL group ka hissa hai (CCP manzoori 1 October, PTA faisla 30 November) — SIMs, codes aur franchises sab pehle ki tarah chal rahe hain, aur “re-registration” wale WhatsApp messages scam hain. Aap ke checks: CNIC 668 par ya cnic.sims.pk (ginti), koi bhi SMS 7751 par (biometric status, PTA ke mutabiq khali SMS bhi chalta hai), MNP 667 par (haath wali SIM), apna number My Telenor app mein. SIM ghum jaye to 345 par block karwayein.
Telenor FAQs
Is Telenor Pakistan still operating after the PTCL deal?
Yes. PTCL completed the acquisition on 31 December 2025 and Telenor Pakistan operates as its 100% subsidiary, with amalgamation into PTML (Ufone’s operator) on record. SIMs, codes and franchises keep working.
How do I check my own Telenor number?
Use the My Telenor app, which shows your number after login, or call another handset and read the display. Circulating USSD codes for this are not traceable to an official Telenor page, so we do not print them.
What is the Telenor biometric verification code?
Send any SMS, even a blank one, to 7751 from the Telenor SIM; PTA’s official page confirms the blank message works. The reply states the SIM’s verification status.
Do Telenor SIMs still show separately in the 668 count?
Yes. Telenor entries appear under their own operator column in 668 and cnic.sims.pk results and count toward the national 8-SIM cap as before.
Can I get a Telenor number owner’s name from any service?
No. That is protected identity information under Section 16 of PECA 2016, merger or no merger. Services claiming it are recycling leaks or fabricating results.
